Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the firm's digital presence and marketing initiatives. As a key member of the Marketing & Business Development team, this individual is tasked with the development, curation, and management of digital content across various platforms, including websites, social media, podcasts, blogs and videos. The role involves implementing SEO strategies and collaborating closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to analyze market trends and assess the impact of digital marketing activities in furthering the firm’s content strategy and performance measures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Content management and publication: Regularly update and manage content on reedsmith.com, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information, such as lawyer bios, press releases, thought leadership and event details. Facilitate the technical aspects of publishing content on lawyer-authored blogs. Monitor contact forms generated from reedsmith.com and coordinate responses with relevants parties.
- Digital marketing support: Assist with the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including podcasts, videos, and email communications. Engage with vendors, manage schedules, coordinate editorial calendars, and oversee content creation and production processes.
- Analytics and reporting: Generate and interpret analytics reports for the digital marketing team, focusing on website performance, blog engagement, SEO effectiveness and content reach. Serve as a lead contributor to the Marketing Department’s data analytics projects by tracking KPIs and ROI, assisting with quarterly and annual reporting.
- Search engine optimization: Evaluate and refine the website's SEO strategy, collaborating with the Business Development team to ensure optimal keyword usage and search engine visibility. Perform regular SEO audits and recommend updates as needed.
- Site search: Working with the Digital Marketing Manager, review and analyze search patterns on reedsmith.com and propose adjustments based on site usage.
- Training and development: Train Marketing Department staff, lawyers and others to use various digital tools, including the website content management system, blog platforms, social media channels, and SEO tools.
- Social media support: Assist with the coordination and publication of content on the firm's social media accounts, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Requirements
Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a digital marketing or related support role with a track record of independent work and project management. Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is advantageous.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems for website content updates.
- Basic HTML understanding for web page creation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems to manage customer data and interactions.
- Podcast production skills: recording, editing, and publishing.
- Proficient in creating content for digital platforms, ensuring engagement and appropriateness.
- Skilled in data analytics and report generation for decision support.
- Understanding of SEO and SEM to improve online visibility and traffic.
- Strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks for project completion and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, maintaining professionalism with all parties.
- Efficient problem-solving and workload prioritization.
- Capable of handling inquiries and escalating issues when necessary.

Equipment To Be Used: Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, copier, scanner, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring prolonged and/or extensive computer use.
- Ability to use computers, telecommunications, and digital collaboration tools to perform core job responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work extended hours as required to meet project, client, or business needs.
Working Conditions: You will be required to work in the office at minimum 3 days per week. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. The details of your weekly schedule will be discussed further with your direct supervisor.
Pay Ranges:
This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
PGH/MIA/DAL/HOU/DEN/ATL: This is a non-exempt position. The hourly wage range for this role is $33.65 to $38.46, with an estimated annual compensation range of $70,000 to $80,000, based on expected hours.
NYC: This is a non-exempt position. The hourly wage range for this role is $42.87 to $48.35, with an estimated annual compensation range of $78,000 to $88,000, based on expected hours.
